Art Equipment ($3,000)
Our dedicated and talented Art teachers are struggling to make do without some very basic equipment. The needed items include printmaking and sculpture tools, as well as a metal drying rack, flat file and display case for protecting those wonderful works of art. You can help by generously contributing to the purchase of these necessary items.
Ceramics Equipment ($6,000)
All of our schools’ art programs include ceramics activities at various levels. In order to continue offering this inspiring instruction, we need to provision the campuses with the appropriate equipment. A safe and easy-to-use electric kiln, drying racks, a slab roller, heat-resistant gloves, and a selection of ceramic tools will all help to ensure that precious ceramic creations turn out beautifully. Please raise your hand to participate in the funding of these necessary items.
Girls Volleyball Jerseys ($1,500)
The hard work and training that the three White Hill girls volleyball teams are doing deserves some serious recognition. And, did you know that they are the only sport teams at White Hill without jerseys? This is a situation that can be easily remedied if you would chip in to fund the purchase of jerseys for their annual, competitive, county-league play.
Set Building Package ($5,000)
The lights dim, the curtain goes up, the spotlight goes on...and another magical YES Theater performance begins. But before that happens, our kids need all sorts of supplies so that they can build amazing sets. Designed by RVSD parent Kim Kitz, these incredible sets require fabric, paint, tools, etc. to come to life. This is equipment that will really enhance both the students and the audiences’ theater experience. Please help us raise the necessary funds to make this possible.
Tuba Time ($4,000)
Our Music program needs a tuba! We’ve been borrowing one from the Tam Union District but we can’t keep doing that. It’s time we had our own. If this is music to your ears, please raise your hand to help pay for this impressive instrument.
Xylophones ($8,400)
Xylophones are used in the classroom to accompany songs, create sound effects, encourage improvisation and increase fine motor skills and coordination. Playing together in a xylophone ensemble requires patience and working together as a group, which builds community within the classroom. We have more children at all our elementary school sites and we want them all to have the opportunity to play this magical instrument. Please help us raise the necessary funds to purchase additional xylophones for each campus.
